The paths across smaller bits of country side seem to be the worst, ignored and over grown. On this stretch I was brought up short a few times, forced to retrace my steps or climb a fence or two. The smaller roads are okay to walk on though, very little traffic and you can get a good rhythm going easily enough.
It took 4 1/2 hours of walking, not very strenuous but I was still tired from yesterday and it was with relief that I hit camp. The Headland Caravan and camping Park is another campsite which kindly offered me a free pitch in support of the walk and it's a lovely place, a wide open space well kept and clean. On this day it also housed a group of lambs in the nearby field who were having a wonderful time running as a flock at the gate and then viering away as if scared before rushing back. It was mesmerising just watching them.Once set up I wondered back into the Center to buy a free things and have a look around. It was only 12:00 by then and I had plenty of time to play with. Most of the ships are tourist aimed with little in them so buying a free postcards I settled with a drink and wrote. I also visited the The Old
Post Office, a 13 century building restore and owned by the National Trust. It's only a small building but stunning nonetheless. After I grabbed some tortellini for dinner and, I'm ashamed to say, lay in my tent dozing and watching a film on my phone.
